Established in 2010 by founder Rashid Latif Khan on a 28-acre purpose-built campus on Ferozepur Road, Lahore, affiliated with the University of Health Sciences and enrolling its first MBBS batch of 100 students. The complex later expanded to include a Nursing College (2011), College of Physiotherapy (2013), College of Pharmacy (2014, affiliated with University of Sargodha) and Dental College (2018). In 2021, the Rashid Latif Khan University Bill was passed, upgrading the institution to university status.
