CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry was inaugurated by then-President Pervez Musharraf on 6 November 2006, conceived by Lt Gen Shafaat Ullah Shah, then Corps Commander Lahore; the Institute of Dentistry followed in 2008. The college is administered by the Pakistan Army and attached to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore, and is affiliated with the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS).
Location
The college is located on Abdur Rehman Road in the Lahore Cantonment, a military-administered area of the city established during the British colonial era and still home to army installations, hospitals and officers' housing.
