NUMS itself does not enroll an MBBS cohort under its own name — it is the centralized admitting and degree-awarding authority for Army Medical College, Rawalpindi (its founding constituent college, previously affiliated with NUST), as well as semi-government/private colleges that run their MBBS/BDS programs under the NUMS umbrella, such as CMH Lahore Medical College and its Institute of Dentistry.
